Resolve and acknowledge a Handoff
Re-resolve one prepared or exact Handoff, check evidence, and capture the receiver's explicit live-state, capability, and authorization checks. Record the receiver decision for an exact prepared or committed Handoff after checking readable evidence, live state, capabilities, and authorization. Never acknowledge an unresolved latest selector or report accepted while required checks are unknown. Acknowledgement does not execute or complete the task.

This operation captures its own boundary; do not call capture_content_source or another Handoff operation first. next_action is one WorkClaim object or null, never an array; omissions is an array of strings or []. Capture an inspected boundary and prepare a temporary evidence-bearing Handoff without committing it. Capture the inspected boundary of a requested work transfer and prepare its Handoff. Use a unique source_id, exact evidence where available, and declared facts otherwise. The returned handoff member is the temporary carrier; commit only for an authorized durable milestone. A preview-only request makes no write. The handoff input contains schema="powercontext.current-work-handoff.v1", trust="untrusted_input", objective, state, disposition, next_action, and omissions. Each state item and non-null next_action is a WorkClaim with text, basis, and evidence (not citations). Facts inspected in the conversation or repository use basis="declared" and evidence=[] unless an exact existing PowerContext citation was returned. Never fabricate a citation for the new source_id or mark a claim verified with empty evidence.
Record a completion-aware Task Outcome POST
Preserve one attempt's status and checks, optionally linked to the exact accepted Handoff Receipt that the result covers. Record observed results at a real completion or interruption boundary. Preserve failed, skipped, timed-out, unavailable, and unknown checks accurately. An ordinary turn ending does not mean the task is complete. Recording an Outcome does not approve an Experience or grant execution authority.
